I woke up with additional thoughts on the opening sequence of The Doorway. I may include the voice mail, or the answering service, of Jordan’s girlfriend in the opening dream sequence. This will be used throughout the movie too. I imagine him circling within the room, and the voice mail is playing. Even perhaps, when he is circling the room, he is also receiving text messages. How may I show this? Maybe directly on the phone.
