    • I finished my art history multiple choice flash project, and I wanted to do something for my english 4 class. So the purpose of this project is to create a simple interactive study application for my English-4 final.

  • The Doorway Movie Project: 09.15.07

    • On June 5th, 2008 I shared my journey, from the streets to the screen, to produce The Doorway, a movie inspired by a lecture by Jim Willis.

      The evening included an autobiographical presentation covering my last decade of cinematic work and concluded with the premier of The Doorway. In addition, the event showcased two special guest speakers, Rob Nilsson and Jim Willis.   • Art History Test: Flash: 09.05.07
    • During my Art History Class, Art-5: Art History - Renassiance to Modern, I was inspired to create a small flash quiz based on the instructors study guides. I created one quiz, but I wanted to take it a bit further by creating a compilation of all the quizzes. So this project exercises Flash development and serves as Art History review.

      It is 10:27 AM. Juiced on adrenaline and inspiration, I slept three and a half hours last night. In addition, I’m sitting on a plane boarding for Ontario and taking a moment to briefly reflect.   • A San Francisco Renaissance: 05.27.08

      I experienced a renaissance in art. I spent the last week in San Francisco. The purpose was to collaborate with Nero on the sound; however, our collaboration far exceeded the sound alone. We spoke on psychology, relationships, and man’s place in a technological and industrial influenced ecosystem.

  • Class Announcements - Livermore Posters: 05.15.08

      I announced the movie to Mr. Ross’s drama classes and went to Livermore’s downtown to post posters. Afterwards, later in the evening, I introduced the movie to Mr. Willis’s English-4 class.

      I was surprised by Livermore’s downtown; there is so much potential for a very strong artistic community. There is a huge downtown arts theater. In addition, the local store owners are very friendly; they were generously willing to allow my …

  • Another Shoot - And Some Pics: 04.19.08

      We are moving forward on The Doorway. After two weekends of shooting, things are going very well; I’ve included a picture from the recent shoot below, visit the project page for additional production stills.

      Last weekend I focused on editing the footage we have, and the scenes are coming together. We will likely wrap up shooting next weekend, and it’s worth noting, Nero is doing some incredible work.
