I touched base with Rob over the last couple of days. He is arranging for screenings of Presque Isle in Los Angles towards the end of February. I would like to go, but I’m not sure if I can work it into my schedule. ¶ Rob asked me to help him shoot a scene this Friday too; its a Direct Action piece for the workshop. I haven’t worked enough with Rob in the trenches. Most of my help has been behind the scenes with web work and etc., but I think I’m ready, so I’m looking forward to getting my hands on some camera work. In addition, this will be good practice leading into shooting The Doorway. ¶ Also, last weekend I had this urge to randomly drive out to see Rob and talk about things. He urged me to drive out anytime such circumstances arise, and this was really nice to hear. Rob invited me out to a dinner and drinks after the Friday shoot. This is great; I’m really looking forward to it.
